Efficacy of Fractional Co2 Laser and Human Lyophilized Growth Factors in the Treatment of Stretch Marks: A Clinical and Histopathological Study

Abstract Background Striae distensae are a well-recognized, common skin condition that rarely causes any significant medical problems but often source of distress to those affected. The natural evolution striae is from red or purple, raised wavy lesions (striae rubra) white atrophic with wrinkly surface alba). Objectives present study was designed compare the efficacy fractional CO2 laser alone combined lyophilized growth factors its in treatment distensae. Patients and Methods included 20 female patients SD; they were all recruited Dermatology Outpatient Clinic, Ain Shams University may 2017 march 2018. An informed consent for treatment, photography punch biopsy taken before enrollment approved by Research Ethical Committee. Area C no improvement. better results area A.We propose LGF did not show histopathologiacl Treatment tolerated well where side effects minimal form transient PIH resolved using bleaching creams. There sgnificant difference incidence between A& B. Conclusion We concluded effective SD especially stria type III IV.
